Bulgaria was visited by 30% more Russians tourists this summer

Russia is on the second place in the number of tourists who visited Bulgaria this year. As the Minister of Tourism of Bulgaria Nikolina Angelkova said, at present time the growth has already exceeded 30%, according to the number of visas issued to Russians. In the summer time it has reached 40%. This includes both the Russian organized tourists, who come and were accommodated in hotels, and individual one. At the same time, according to her, should take into account the fact that in the first half of 2016 (compared with the first half of 2015) the number of Russians, who could afford to travel abroad, fell by almost a third. It is expected that this year Bulgaria will be visited by 550-600 thousand Russian tourists. It's much better than last year (484 thousand), but smaller than in 2013 (681 thousand). Except the Russians Bulgaria this year was able to return to its beaches tourists from France, Poland, Czech Republic and Hungary.
