Bahrain became interesting for Russians

According to the Tourism Authority of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Russia, from January to June 2018, the incoming tourist flow to Bahrain increased by 5.8% compared to the previous year. Bahrain was visited by 5.9 million tourists. The Russian tourist flow grew by 13.2% and amounted up to 11,298 people. Most travelers come to Bahrain to spend their vacation - 43.4%, while 35.2% of guests - for shopping. The number of tourists who came to visit their friends and relatives is 9.2%, 6.8% of guests make business trips. Bahrain intends to continue actively attracting tourists to its Kingdom. Also statistics showed that tourists began to come to Bahrain for a longer time compared to past data. The average duration of stay in Bahrain increased by 16%. The charter program from Russia to Bahrain will be launched by Coral Travel tour operator, the first flight from Moscow to Manama (the capital of Bahrain) will depart on October 29, 2018. The flights will be operated by Ural Airlines until May 13, 2019 (the type of airplanes is Airbus-321). Departures from Moscow will be carried out twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays. The flight time of the direct flight from Moscow to Manama is 4.5 hours. A tourist visa for 2 weeks is available upon arrival at the airport. If it necessary, the visa can be extended for a similar period. The procedure at the airport takes five minutes and costs 5 Bahraini dinars ($ 12).
