Austrian Aviation authorities asked to stop selling tickets of "Pobeda" airlines company to Vienna.
“The Aviation authorities of Austria unhappy with the fact that the Russian airline company "Pobeda" (a group of "Aeroflot") sells tickets for destination Moscow - Vienna without direct air flights license in this direction” – reported the Federal Air Transport Agency. It concerns the special service of "Pobeda" - Fly & Bus. This service provides international flights to any European town. Then the passengers are transported by express buses to the neighboring more popular tourist’s city. For example, Vienna can be reached by flight from Russia to Bratislava and then by buses to Vienna. According to the Austrians, this service violates the bilateral agreements on air communication between Russia and Austria. They asked the Russian aviation authorities to take measures to stop this operation. However, as noted in the materials - Austrian officials supported the initiative of the Russian colleagues to establish regular flights between Moscow and Linz. Moreover, they offered to organize the similar service on the route Moscow - Linz - Vienna, where the route Linz - Vienna will be performed by train or other transport.
