ATOR: Turkey has become a leader among the foreign destinations for booking tours for the summer

“Turkey is in the lead among other international destinations in terms of booking tours for the summer of 2017. It has about 50% of total sales”, - said the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) on Wednesday with reference to the data of tour operators. "The leading tour operators explain such a meaningful result by the strengthening of the ruble and high accommodation discounts, which the Turkish hoteliers provide", - noted in the report. Discounts for accommodation, depending of the hotel, achieve up to 50%. The average cost of a week tour to Antalya in the beginning of June in 3-4 - stars hotel is 30-34 thousand Rubles. According to the operators, it is one of the lowest prices for the summer tours. The active demand for tours to Turkey encourages tour operators to extend the program for the summer season. So, the charter flight program of "Tez Tour", which starts since April 1, will cover Antalya, Bodrum, Dalaman and Izmir regions. The “Anex Tour” charter program includes flights to Turkey from 34 cities of Russia. The tour operator for the first time in this season will launch the flight program from Magnitogorsk.
