To date, the vast majority of Russian tourists who were abroad through tour operators have returned to the territory of the Russian Federation. Over the past two weeks, about 160 000 organized tourists from 43 countries of the world returned to the country.
Most organized tourists returned to Russia as planned, mainly from the countries of Southeast Asia, the Caribbean and Turkey. The rest tourists, if the date of their departure was at a later date, returned by earlier flights.
According to the Federal Tourism Agency, now only 109 tourists, who are the clients of tour operators, remain abroad. Some of them expect departure from countries where there is limited air traffic or are on cruises.
At the same time, a large number of Russian citizens, including tourists who independently organized trips abroad, still remain in different countries of the world. Rosaviatsia and the Russian Foreign Ministry are involved in their return with the participation of Rostourism.
Now, special charter flights have already been organized from Morocco, the Philippines and India (Goa) for independent tourists with the support of Russian tour operators.
