Currently, Russian tourists choose to make holidays in Russia. Schengen countries, which are still closed for Russian tourists, are in the second place. Also, operators note orders for "exotic" tours. This data was shared by experts of the insurance company "Soglasiye"
As it was reported in the press service of "Soglasiye", in total tourists have recently been insured for traveling in 60 destinations. Almost half of them - or 47% - preferred to travel in Russia. The Schengen countries are in the second place - they were chosen by 16% of travelers. 7% are insured for traveling around the world.
Further, statistics are distributed as follows:
7% of tourists chose Turkey, India and Thailand for their future holidays;
Less than 6% plan to travel to Bulgaria, Greece, France, the United Arab Emirates and Cyprus.
1% - the USA;
1% - the Maldives;
Less than 0,5% intend to visit Australia, Sri Lanka, Japan, Serbia, New Zealand, Canada, Bangladesh, the Caribbean, Tunisia, Mauritius, the Netherlands and Italy.
Not popular are Algeria, Switzerland, Swaziland, Israel, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Austria, Slovakia and Lithuania.
Most of the clients planned to travel before the end of the year.
