What airplanes will fly to Egypt
The experts of tourist and aviation markets reported that there is no shortage of airplanes in this winter season. “The fact is that over the past two years, Russian airlines, specializing in charter transportation, have increased their fleet by 20-100%. New aircraft have appeared in the fleet of AZUR Air, NordWind, IFly. In the summer season, all these additional capacities were occupied mainly by Turkish program,” says the Director General of Vipservice Holding, Vice-President of ATOR, Dmitry Gorin. With the end of the season in Turkey a huge number of seats are released. So, a part of the boards serve regular flights in Russia (for example, a large number of flight programs were opened by NordWind). For a number of popular destinations, the volume of air transportation for the winter season has been increased. We are talking about countries such as Thailand, the Dominican Republic, Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates. The geography of flights has been expanded on Thailand and Caribbean routs (especially to the Dominican Republic and Cuba). Finally, in this winter season a large number of new for the Russian market beach destinations have appeared. These are, for example, Oman and Jamaica from PEGAS Touristik, Gambia and Bahrain from Coral Travel, Mexico and Zanzibar from ANEX Tour, etc. The market participants believe that in the winter season it will not be difficult to free up aircraft for Egyptian programs. The commercial director of Coral Travel tour operator, Ergyument Yunalan told that the company is ready to join the flight programs to Egypt at any time when it is legally possible. The tour operator will find the aircraft. And the incoming company, the partner of Coral Travel, is now working in Egypt serving other source markets. According to preliminary estimates of Mr. Yunalan, in the event that Egypt appears on the market, some flight programs - most likely for winter Turkey and the UAE - will be adjusted by the tour operator.
