Two tour operators have taken blocks of seats to Sri Lanka
The tour operators Intourist and Anex Tour have expanded their flight program to Sri Lanka. These tour operators have added blocks of seats on Red Wings flights to regular Aeroflot flights and block transportation on Azur air from Moscow and the regions.
This airline will fly from Moscow not to the capital of Colombo, but to the international airport of Mattala, 142 km from Colombo. There is Boeing 777-200 on the route, and tour operators Fun&Sun and Paks will also transport their tourists on it.
According to the press service of Intourist, the block flight program on the wings of Red Wings is scheduled from January 10 to March 23. The frequency of flights is twice a week.
Intourist explained that the expansion of the flight program to Sri Lanka is associated with high demand for the destination.
“The demand for tours to the resorts of Sri Lanka is very good. The destination is in the TOP-10 in terms of sales on the outbound market,” the press service of the tour operator said.
The assortment of Intourist includes more than 300 hotels of the island in 30 resort villages and cities of the country, as well as more than 10 different excursion programs which are convenient to combine with a beach holiday.
“Package offers in the second half of January and February cost from $ 1 700 for two persons at a 2* hotel (no meals)," Intourist reported.
According to the Anex Tour booking system, a tour to Sri Lanka on Red Wings flights with a departure on January 10 for 11 nights starts from $ 2 250 for two (3* hotel, BB). A tour for 11 nights to a 4* hotel, BB is from $ 2 432 for two, to a 5* hotel - from $ 2 660.
