Charter flights are added to regular ones to Sri Lanka
From November 2, Azur air has launched a flight program to Sri Lanka from Moscow, as well as St. Petersburg, Krasnoyarsk and Novosibirsk. Direct flights from Moscow began on November 2 with a frequency of 2 times a week. Flights are operated on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Flights from St. Petersburg are launched from November 3, from Novosibirsk - on November 7, from Krasnoyarsk – on November 11. The frequency of departures from the regions is 1 time in 10/11 nights. Depending on the city of departure, blocks of seats on these flights are taken by tour operators Anex Tour, Fun & Sun and Intourist.
Earlier, Aeroflot resumed direct flights from Moscow to Colombo: flights are operated three times a week. On the basis of this transportation package tours to Sri Lanka are offered by Biblio-Globus, Russian Express, Space Travel, Tez Tour, Ambotis Holidays, Ics Travel Group and Pac Group and Intourist.
Also, tour operators offer package tours on connecting flights of international airlines with comfortable change.
According to the statistics of tour operators, most often tourists fly to Sri Lanka for 9-12 nights, choosing hotels with breakfast or half board. Clients of Fun & Sun and Tez Tour most often choose tours to 4 and 5* hotels on the popular resorts of Bentota, Unawatuna and Kalutara.
