In the winter season, six flights a week will fly to Sri Lanka from Moscow. In October there will be 2 flights per week, and since November - 6 flights. Charter programs from three cities of the regions are also planned.
Direct flights will again connect Russia and Sri Lanka from October 9th. The flight program from Moscow to Colombo of Aeroflot airline starts on this day.
“Already on October 9, Aeroflot will fly to Colombo from Moscow. The frequency so far is 2 times a week,” said Janita Abevikrema Liyanage, Ambassador of the Republic of Sri Lanka in Moscow.
Also from November 3, Azur air will join Aeroflot. The airline will operate 4 flights a week from Moscow.
Totally, since November there will be 6 flights per week from Moscow to Colombo. Also, according to the ambassador, negotiations are underway to resume direct flights of SriLankan Airlines. But this question is still at the level of discussions.
As for the regions, we recall that from November 7, Azur air flight program should start to Colombo from Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk and St. Petersburg. From the regions, the frequency of departures is 1 time per 10/11 nights. The tour operator Anex Tour, the customer of the flights, has very active regional sales.
