According to experts, this is due to the fact that "Egyptian tourists" choose mainly budget vacation and All inclusive. In addition, Qatar and Oman are in the beginning of entering on the Russian market, but it is already known that they do not want to repeat the experience of the UAE and become a mass destination. Meanwhile, almost half of the respondents unanimously agreed that there is no alternative to Egypt. They hope that soon charter flights to the resorts of Hurghada and Sharm El-Sheikh will be launched. However, according to the Vice-President of the Federation of tourism of Egypt Mostaf Khalil, there is little hope for this – in Egypt the issue of resuming charter flights with Russia is not even discussed. Observers do not exclude that the situation may change somehow after the meeting of the presidents of Russia and Egypt, which is to be held this year in Sochi.
