Tour operators reported high demand for tours to Egypt

Coral Travel launches a flight program to Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh on September 3 from Moscow Domodedovo Airport on flights of the national carrier of Egypt - Egypt Air.

“The demand for holidays in Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh with flights on direct flights turned out to be higher than expected. The first flights of the flight program starting on September 3 are completely sold out, tourists are actively buying tours for autumn, including for the November and New Year holidays,” said the head of the public relations department of the tour operator Coral Travel Marina Makarkova.

"We announced the launch of the program two weeks ago and we see that Egypt has ceased to be a last minute destination this season. Tours with departures on the first flights were sold almost immediately. The depth of sales is high. There are many bookings for school holidays and November holidays. In addition, tours for the New Year and winter holidays are successfully sold," she said.

Makarkova adds that in addition to increasing the depth of sales, a noticeable trend of the season is a shift of demand towards the luxury segment.

On the resorts of Egypt, Coral Travel offers more than 150 hotels. From 40 hotels the tour operator received special conditions for booking. Three hotels of the popular OTI Hotels & Resorts chain can be bought only from Coral Travel. These are Otium Family Amphoras Beach Resort, Otium Inn Amphoras Aqua Resort and Otium Park Amphoras Blu Resort.
