Tour operators reported about increase in demand for winter ski tours

“Sales of ski tours for the upcoming winter season are more active by 40-50% in comparison with the last year's figures”, - reported the electronic newspaper of the Russian Tourist Industry Union (RST) RATA-news. "Sales of ski tours for the upcoming winter season started earlier than a year ago. The tour operators consider the beginning of sales as quite successful", - writes the publication citing the data of tour operators. As the PR director of Tez Tour Larisa Akhanova told, in 2017 the market started in March, in the past year - only in May. According to her, now ski tours are booked by 40% more actively against the same period of 2016. In the company PAC Group reported that sales of ski tours by early booking program exceed last year's figures by 50%. As noted L. Akhanova, at the New Year peak dates and the winter holidays budget hotels are the leaders of sales. Mountain resorts began to attract not only skiers, but also those who just want to relax, visit SPA and do shopping.
