Thailand lifted quarantine for vaccinated with Sputnik V
Thailand has completely canceled quarantine for Russian tourists vaccinated with Sputnik V. This was reported by the Russian Embassy in the Kingdom.
“From May 1, 2022, fully vaccinated Russian citizens over 18 years old (the second dose of the vaccine should be taken no earlier than 14 days before the trip) can enter Thailand without quarantine.
“Sputnik V is also included in the list of vaccines. The requirements for booking a specialized hotel, passing a PCR test upon arrival, as well as transfer from the airport have been canceled,” the statement said.
But, it remains necessary to provide medical insurance (at least 10 thousand US dollars), as well as to receive a QR code on the electronic platform of the Consular Department of the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs - "Thailand Pass" (at least 7 days before departure).
“Unvaccinated persons, who uploaded a negative PCR test on the Thailand Pass platform, made 72 hours before departure and received the corresponding QR code, are also exempt from quarantine.
“If it is not possible to provide a PCR test, tourists must undergo a 5-day quarantine in a specialized hotel,” the Embassy stressed.
