Despite the ban on direct charters from Russia to Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh, the tourist flow of Russian tourists to Egypt has increased in recent months - this is because most Russians go on vacation to Hurghada through Belarus. Moreover, in this season the route to Egypt will be offered to Russian tourists by the Latvian airline airBaltic in cooperation with the international tour operator Tez Tour Latvia. On October 26 and 27, the tour operator will begin charter flights from Riga to Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt, respectively. “After a long break, in cooperation with Tez Tour Latvia, now we resume flights to Egypt. We are pleased to strengthen our long and successful cooperation with Tez Tour Latvija, offering flights to the sunny resort in the coming winter season,” Martin Gauss, the Executive Director of airBaltic, said.
