ITE HCMC held its first show in 2005 with two international pavilions from Thailand and Cambodia, 43 buyers, and 86 booths. Most of the exhibitors were local enterprises. Today, it has grown to become the largest and most established travel event in Vietnam and the Mekong sub-region. In 2019 more than 350 exhibitors and 30,000 visitors are expected, with 250 international buyers, 50 outbound Vietnamese buyers, and a record number of 40 hosted media. To celebrate its 15th year milestone, the International Travel Expo, Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC) is introducing a bundle of new features and special highlights to make the annual event an even more spectacular one for the expected record-high attendance.

Aeroflot and Vietnam Airlines have signed an agreement on the joint operation of domestic and international flights (code-sharing) in Vietnam and Russia. It was reported by the press service of the Russian airline. Code-sharing applies to Aeroflot flights on the following routes: Moscow (Sheremetyevo) - Hanoi / Ho Chi Minh, Moscow (Sheremetyevo) - St. Petersburg, Ufa and Krasnodar; and also on Vietnam Airlines flights on the routes Hanoi - Moscow (Sheremetyevo), Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City, Phu Quoc, Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City - Phu Quoc, Nha Trang.

Vietnam Airlines will move its Moscow operations from Domodedovo to Sheremetyevo airport starting July 2, Asia Travel Tips informs.
The move to Sheremetyevo International Airport will facilitate Vietnam Airlines’ cooperation and partnership with Russia’s major carrier Aeroflot, as the two airlines target to begin codesharing on domestic routes in Vietnam and Russia, and expand their cooperation across several areas of the business. The airline will move its entire operations without any interruption to flights.
