Finland will issue by 50% less visas to Russians than a year before
According to estimations of the General Consulate of Finland in St. Petersburg, this year the Russians will be given about half a million Finnish visas, which is twice less than in the last year, according to the Finnish portal yle.fi. The main reasons for this decline in demand for Finnish visas are the fall of the ruble and anti-Russian sanctions.

According to ATOR, after the terrorist attack in Sousse, demand for tours to Tunisia has dropped significantly: some tour operators have reported about almost complete standstill, the others about the partial reduction of bookings, most of tour operators observed decline by about 40%.

Russian citizens are allowed to stay in Tunisia for 90 days without visas, the Association of Tour Operators of Russia said on its website. Visa requirements were lifted for Russians on December 1, 2014, the Tunisian embassy said. Before the time, Russians could stay in Tunisia without visas for 14 days, and visafree presence was allowed only to tourists who arrived on direct flights from Russia and had a hotel voucher from a travel agency officially registered in Tunisia, the tour operators' association said.
