In the summer season of 2019, the tour operator ANEX Tour expands its regional charter program to Turkey. For some of new cities of departure the direct charter flights to Turkey are arraigned for the first time. 

Tour operator TUI Russia and the largest charter carrier of the Russian Federation - airline AZUR air, told about the cooperation in the summer season of 2019. The capacities of AZUR air will be extensively used by TUI on 6 destinations, flights are planned from 11 regions of Russia.

During the verification of the airline Rosaviatsia detected shortcomings concerning the maintenance of airworthiness of airplanes and organization of flight activity. “Azur Air airline can stop flights from March 21, if it does not eliminate all the shortcomings which significantly affect the safety of flights”, - says the statement of Rosaviatsia.

According to statistics published by Federal Air Transport Agency, which indicate the core indicators of operations activities of the airlines in 2017, AZUR air consistently ranks No. 8 in the industry by number of passengers carried and ranks No. 5 by passenger turnover. According to the regulatory authority, from January to December the airline AZUR air carried more than 3.747 million passengers, which is 59.9% greater than in 2016.

ANEX Tour tour operator announced its plans for flight programs to Rhodes and Montenegro. In the upcoming summer season ANEX Tour will resume the flight program to Rhodes Island. Air the flights on the route Moscow - Rhodes - Moscow will be performed by AZUR Air airline. The flight program will start from the end of May and will last until mid of November.

On October 27 2017 was launched a charter connection from Russia to the capital of UAE by airplanes of AZUR air Earlier Russian tour operators used flights of regular foreign carriers for air transportation to Abu Dhabi from Russia. AZUR air airline has started the flight charter program on October 27, 2017.

AZUR Air is expanding the flight program to United Arab Emirates. Charter flights on the route Moscow - Abu Dhabi - Moscow are scheduled from October 24 with a frequency of two times a week. Flights will be performed to Abu Dhabi International Airport by Boeing 737-800.

“French airline Aigle Azur intends to resume flights from Paris to Moscow from December 2, 2017”, - according to the data, published on the website of the carrier. Flights are scheduled to be performed twice a week from Paris airport Orly to Moscow's Domodedovo airport by Airbus A320. Departure of the flight ZI515 from Paris is scheduled on Fridays and Sundays at 22:15, arriving to Moscow at 4:00.

On September 27 Azur Air airline has launched its first regular flight from Moscow to United Arab Emirates. The airplane of Azur Air landed at Dubai International Airport with 188 passengers on board at 16:35 of local time. The daily scheduled flights on the route Moscow - Dubai - Moscow are carried out by Boeing 737-800.

In the new spring-summer season, the AZUR AIR airline has expanded the geography of flights to the cities of the Russian Federation. On its route map seven more cities were added, whose inhabitants can fly by airline airplanes to the best world resorts. The tourists from Murmansk, Nizhnevartovsk, Nizhnekamsk, Orenburg, Ulyanovsk and Khanty-Mansiysk will fly in the new season to Antalya (Turkey). And from Arkhangelsk airport, besides Antalya, we expects for flights to Anfida airport (Tunis). The first flights are scheduled for the end of April. Thus, the AZUR air route network has expanded up to 38 Russian cities with flights on 29 popular international tourist routes.

Azur Air has announced the expansion of its route network in the 2019/2020 autumn-winter schedule, including from Russian regions. The carrier will also increase the intensity of flights to its traditional destinations.

27.10.2019 the flight of Azur Air company to Chinese resort Sanya took off from the international airport of Krasnodar. The first 329 passengers from Kuban capital turned to Hainan island. That is the new destination for the region. Boeing 767-300 aircraft for 336 passengers will work on the destination till 22.03.2020 according the tour operator’s plans.

The Rosaviatsia’s website has published permission for scheduled and charter international flights. If the permits are unleashed, new regular flights will fly from various cities of Russia to the UAE, China, Italy, Greece and Turkey - including from the Crimea.
