Sochi hopes to "give" Turkey not more than 10% of tourists in 2017
“The outflow of tourists from Sochi to Turkey will not exceed 10% if to take timely measures”, - said the deputy head of Sochi Oleg Yasiuk at the All-Russian Congress of Tour Operators on Tuesday.
"Of course, some tourists will leave to Turkey in the next season, but this year we have to carry out all the work in advance, provide quality service and as a result - the outflow of tourists will not exceed 10%", - added O.Yasyuk.
According to him, this summer the occupancy of Sochi resorts and hotels was on the average 96% and the passenger traffic of the city airport amounted up to 27 thousand people a day.
"Largely, it is thanks to the activities of tour operators. Now we continue the work, take information from the tour operators – which places the negative things were - in favor to correct our activity", - said O.Yasyuk.
In September this year the head of the Federal Tourism Agency Oleg Safonov said, that last summer the average occupancy of Sochi hotels was 82% - this is more than during the Olympic Games 2014.
