Russian tourists are interesting in tours to Zanzibar

This autumn two tour operators - PEGAS Touristik and ANEX Tour - will fly to Tanzania on the island of Zanzibar. The opening of the direction by tour operators with charter programs to the island of Zanzibar did not make the direction as mass one, but significantly expanded the range of African proposals on the Russian tourism market. The flow of tourists to the country from Russia increase noteworthily. In the fourth quarter of 2017, when the charter program was launched, 2,317 tourists from Russian Federation visited Tanzania. And for the first two quarters of 2018, according to the Border Service of the Russian Federal Security Service, 4,776 tourists from Russia arrived in Tanzania. In 2018 the further growth is expected - in fact there are already two tour operators acting on the route. The flight charter program to Zanzibar from PEGAS Touristik, which launches charters to Zanzibar for the second year, remained on the same level as in 2017: the 11-day charter chain on the wings of Nordwind airline with departure from Moscow will start in October. The tour operator offers tour packages with duration from 11 to 23 nights. The flight program to Zanzibar of ANEX Tour starts later, after the New Year - from 01.01.2019 and will last until the end of March 2019. The tour operator will fly from Moscow on the wings of AZUR airline, the charter flights will be performed every 10 days. PEGAS Touristik notes that the autumn flights to Zanzibar now are loaded quite actively: the demand is even slightly higher than last year. It is significant that ANEX Tour also notes a good depth of sales, the company already has bookings for New Year's dates. In the winter season 2018/19 PEGAS Touristik offers tourists more than 90 hotels in Zanzibar, ANEX Tour - about one hundred objects. In winter the cost of a tour with a beach holiday in Zanzibar from PEGAS Touristik starts from 140.5 thousand Rubles ($ 2,035) for two adults in 3-stars hotels with breakfast for 10 nights (flight October 17). The prices of tours with similar parameters on the base of "all inclusive" in 3-stars hotels start from 165 thousand Rubles ($ 2,391) for two persons. The tours in 5-stars hotels on the base "breakfast" or "breakfast-dinner" start from the amount of 222 thousand Rubles ($ 3,216) for two persons for 10 nights.
