Russian Tourism Union: Clean Sweep of Tour Operators to Be Continued

Some small Russian tour operators consider quitting the tourism market since June 2015, as Irina Tyurina, the press-secretary of Russian Tourism Union said on the press-conference without naming any particular companies.

The next cleaning on the Federal Registry will be on May 31, 2015. Therefore, those tour operators who are not formalizing financial guarantees for the new period because of their inability, would leave the market. – We hope that these exits would be bot such painful for tourists as they were during 2014, - Irina Tyurina says.

She also reminded that this year demand for outgoing trips among Russians dropped for more than 50%. Major part of tourists who refused holidays abroad, probably would go in summer to Russian beach destinations, primarily to Krasnodar Territory, by her forecast.
