Russia leads in tourist flow to Thailand for the first two weeks of January 2023

According to the data, from January 1 to January 15, 2023, 99 593 tourists from Russia visited Thailand. And this is the best result among all countries.

Malaysia (the former leader) is closest to Russia in terms of tourist flow. 89 461 tourists came from there.

Korea is in the third place with 76 057 tourists. It is followed by India and Laos with 47 471 tourists and 41 836 tourists respectively.

Among non-Asian countries, Russia has no competitors in terms of the number of tourists sent to Thailand from January 1 to January 15, 2023. The UK, number two in this list, is nearly three times lower than the level of Russia. The result for the 15 days of January is 34 796 tourists.

The data obtained for the first two weeks of January has almost come close to the data of the whole November – 109,4 thousand tourists from Russia.
