Russia is in the Top-5 in Monaco

According to Monaco statistic department of Tourism and Congresses, the number of nights booked by Russians during the period from January 2019 is 42 264 and that is 5,4% more than in 2018. So, Russia is on the fifth place according to tourists’ number in Monaco after France, Great Britain, Italy and USA. The ordinary travelers are not choosing Monaco for their vacations. Usually they come for one-day visit by bus or cruise liners. Monaco is the place for holidays of businessmen and officials. 18% of all the Russian visitors have chosen the country for medical purpose. They have booked 18 000 nights during this year. Another 17 000 nights were booked for “informational technologies” events. 

The destination is growing without special promotion and charter flights. Some visitors have the apartments or yachts there. Tour operators work on the destination for individual travellers only.
