"We know that Morocco is not a mass destination for Russians. But according to statistics, as far as I know, in general about 19 million Russians travel every year. And we expect to reach the figure of 200-300 thousand tourists in the next three years from the Russian Federation,» he said. Zuiten Abderrafie also noted that next year Morocco will spend about $ 5 million for the promotion of tours to Morocco in Russia. On Tuesday, governments of Russia and Morocco signed an agreement to expand air links and announced the development of relations in the sphere of tourism. According to the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR), there is demand for tours to Morocco from Russian tourists, but it declined significantly in 2015 due to the economic crisis.
