India resumes issuing five-year visas to Russians
According to ATOR, tourists with e-tourist visas will be able to enter India through designated sea and air checkpoints.
Russians can arrive in Delhi, Mumbai, Goa and 25 other points where there are international airports, as well as 5 seaports, including the ports of Mumbai and Goa. It is clarified that crossing the land border with an e-visa is prohibited.
Five-year visas for tourists are issued by Embassy of India in Moscow. Processing time is 3-5 business days on average. A number of tour operators provide support in obtaining visas.
Due to the blocking of Visa and Mastercard cards issued by Russian banks, tourists from the Russian Federation cannot purchase air tickets on the website of foreign airlines or pay for other travel services.
