In 2020 the number of charter flights to the Maldives will be more
The charter chain of Azur Air airline to the Maldives this winter showed good results: both players who formed the tours on these charters reported on successful sales. Anex Tour promises to continue the "charter experiment" with the Maldives - and not only for the New Year.
The New Year's charter chain in the Maldives (25.12 and 01.01) was launched by the initiative of Anex Tour. The blocks of seats on these flights were also taken by the tour operator Tui Russia.
Tui Russia sold almost all tours to the Maldives on Azur air charters 3 weeks before departure. In the last days of December, the last few places were sold.
“In total, on charter and regular flights during the New Year holidays, we transported more than 1 100 tourists to the Maldives, which is the leading indicator. This is ten times growth against our results of the last year (there were only blocks on Aeroflot). We plan not to slow down, and to arrange a few more charters in 2020 (not only for New Year's holidays),” said Anna Tkachenko, Maldives Head of Anex Tour.
According to experts, Anex Tour is likely to launch charter chains in the Maldives for the May holidays and New Year-2021.
The interest of wealthy tourists in charters is also evidenced by the amount of average tour price to the Maldives with a charter flight. The Anex Tour average check per person on a flight on December 25 was $ 3 000 and $ 5 000 on January 3.
