The flagship airline of the Kingdom of Bahrain is expanding its flight program on the Manama-Moscow route. From June 10, instead of three flights a week, the carrier will fly daily to the capital of Bahrain, except for Tuesdays and Sundays.
Bahrain is a relatively new destination on the Russian market, which, according to the experts of the Russian Express tour operator company, is little known to the travel retail.
For this reason, tour operators are not currently recording active demand for Bahrain, especially in the context of the summer season.
Such an assessment of demand was shared by specialists from the tour operators Russian Express, China Travel and Ics Travel Group. According to their information, tours to Bahrain are mainly in demand among individual tourists, experienced travelers and fans of holidays in the Middle East.
As per the tour operator Intourist, a growth of tours to Bahrain was noted in March immediately after the removal of covid restrictions at the end of February, when PCR tests and quarantine for arrivals from abroad were canceled.
The destination was also in demand for the May holidays. Nowadays, the depth of tours to Bahrain, which is gradually expanding its audience, reaches the end of October.
According to participants of the tourism market, the demand for tours to Bahrain will become more active closer to the winter season, when the Russians will again look for affordable alternatives for a beach holiday.
Intourist's TOP-3 most booked hotels in Bahrain now include The Gulf Hotel, Arthotel & Resort and Al Bander.
Today, tours to Bahrain with a Gulf Air flight are available for booking from Intourist starting from 2 292 Euros for two persons (departure on June 20, 8 nights, 4* hotel, BB). On average, a trip to Bahrain for 7-8 nights will cost 2 582 – 2 905 Euros for two.
