Russian tour operators try to help doctors: the first action of the travel industry in their support is launched today.
The tour operator Mouzenidis Travel, together with Ellinair airline, Bomo Hotels chain with the participation of Cronwell Hotels & Resorts, announces the launch of an action in support of Russian doctors fighting COVID-19 pandemic. The action was supported by the Association of Tour Operators (ATOR) and the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO).
Mouzenidis Travel was the first major federal tour operator to support Russian doctors who are struggling with the outbreak of the coronavirus today.
As the director of the tour operator Alexander Tsandekidi told, Mouzenidis Travel, together with partners, will organize free vacations in Greece for the families of 50 Russian doctors who today treat patients with coronavirus infection.
“We are ready to provide families of Russian doctors with a free weekly holiday in our hotels located both in mainland Greece and on the islands. As soon as this becomes possible, 25 families of doctors from Moscow and 25 families of doctors from other regions of Russia will go for holiday at the expense of the tour operator,” said Mr. Tsandekidi.
“We hope that other federal players of the Russian tourism market will join the action of the leading tour operator,” said Maya Lomidze, Executive Director of ATOR.
Yury Mishchenko, graduated from Moscow Institute of Foreign Languages, has more than 15 years experience in tourism and travel. Working both in tour operator company as destination manager, and in travel agency as sales manager, he is focused on analysis of Russian tour operators’ daily routine.
