As follows from the data of the Onlinetours package tour booking service, in Russia, the average check for foreign tours in the first half of 2026 increased to 196,500 rubles ($2,500), or by 7% compared to the same period in 2025. The demand for trips abroad increased by 44%.
Turkey remained the leader in terms of booking volume, accounting for 31% (compared to 35% in the first half of 2025). The average price for a vacation in this country increased by 14% to 226,900 rubles ($2,900).
Egypt ranked second in popularity, with its share of bookings increasing from 23% to 29%. The average ticket remained virtually unchanged at 184,500 rubles ($2,300) compared to 178,300 rubles ($2,300) the previous year.
Russia (domestic traveling) for the first time in two years, entered the top three in terms of booking share, overtaking the UAE: its share increased from 9% to 10%, with the average ticket reaching 59,600 rubles ($760,5). The UAE's share fell from 11% to 4%, with the average ticket falling 8% to 174,000 rubles ($2,200).
Thailand accounted for 9% of the market, Vietnam for 7%, with the average ticket in these countries being 223,300 and 237,100 rubles, respectively ($2,800/$3,000).
Demand for China more than doubled, with the average ticket increasing to 224,200 rubles ($2,800). In the Maldives, the average ticket fell by 12%, to 450,500 rubles ($5,700), and in the Seychelles, by 22%, to 384,200 rubles ($4,900).
According to the analytical service of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia, in July 2026, the top countries for package tour sales were Turkey, Egypt, Russia, and Vietnam.
