EgyptAir will carry out three flights a week between Cairo and Moscow from February 1
“Egyptian airline EgyptAir plans to carry out three weekly flights between Cairo and Moscow”, - reports the portal Egypt. "Three scheduled flights will be performed from Cairo International Airport to Moscow on a weekly basis starting on February 1, 2018. Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday are the preliminarily agreed days", - the message said. According to the portal, in addition about 20 flights will be reserved by travel agencies for transportation of Egyptian fans to Russia during the World Cup. Earlier on Thursday, Rosturizm announced about cancellations of restrictions for tour operators to sell tours to Egypt via Cairo. Now they can create a tourist product in Egypt on the basis of regular air communication with Cairo. The Press secretary of the Russian Union of Travel Industry (RCT) Irina Tyurina believes that tours to Egypt with a flight to Cairo will not be in demand, since this is not a mass product and the way from Cairo to sea resorts is too long, inconvenient and expensive. Tourist business, according to her, is waiting for the opening of direct flights to the resorts of Egypt.
