ATOR: the number of tourists from Russia to South Africa will increase after the abolition of visas
“Introduction of the visa-free regime with the Republic of South Africa will boost the tourist flow from Russia to this country”, - said the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR). "The increase will occur due to the tourists from the regions, who were required to present in person at the consulate in Moscow for several years to obtain the visas", - said in a statement. "Over the past two years the demand for South African fell, however, we expect that after the introduction of visa-free regime the number of tourists should increase", - said the manager of the tour operator "Russian Express" Christina Nazarova. She said, that South Africa is on the fourth place in demand among the African countries, located south of the equator. Also, among the leaders of the direction we can call visa-free Tanzania and Kenya. The introduction of a visa-free regime is expected in February - March. The Russians will be able to stay in the Republic of South Africa without visa up to 90 days. The number of visitors from Russia to South Africa amounted 15 thousand in 2015.
