AlMasria is preparing to resume flights to Egypt from Moscow
Egyptian carrier AlMasria Universal Airlines is preparing to resume flights to Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh from Moscow and Yekaterinburg. As it is indicated in the schedule of the Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport, flights to Hurghada should begin on August 2, the frequency is 2 times a week. And from August 4, the carrier is going to resume transportation to Sharm el-Sheikh with a frequency of 4 times a week.
From Ekaterinburg, according to the Koltsovo airport timetable, AlMasria will fly only to Sharm el-Sheikh from August 4. The frequency of departures is twice a week.
However, the appearance of flights in the schedule does not mean that the airline will return to Russia on time. It is necessary to wait for the appearance of tickets on sale for these flights. So far, they are not.
There is no clarity yet - which of the tour operators intends to cooperate with the Egyptian carrier.
We contacted representatives of Anex Tour, Pegas Touristik, Tez Tour and Fun&Sun. None of them is currently ready to talk in detail on the topic of interaction with AlMasria.
There is no comment from Paks company, which took blocks of seats on AlMasria flights in the 2021/2022 season.
Now, tourists fly to Sharm el-Sheikh from Moscow, and to Hurghada - from Moscow and the regions. IFly airline carries out flights on the routes. The carrier operates flights from Moscow in the interests of Tez Tour and Fun&Sun tour operators.
In addition to IFly, Red Wings flies from Moscow to Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh in partnership with Biblio-Globus.
