According to her, 600 thousand Russian tourists visited Tunisia in 2016, in 2017 the tourist flow decreased slightly due to the opening of Turkey on the Russian market. Most tourists come to Tunisia from France, Germany and Italy. "As for the Russian tourists - they come to us for 20 years, we pay great attention to the development of the Russian market, for example, we try to have duplicates the signs in Russian language", - she said. The Minister stressed that Tunisia is not the resort of only beaches, but also has a lot of historical and architectural sights. "We have more than 40 thousand places of interest, including 8 monuments included in the UNESCO heritage list - all this is attractive for tourists. In addition, the minister said that about 10 thousand fans from Tunisia will visit Russia during the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
