Tourist flow to Indonesia returned to pre-covid levels
According to the results of the first four months of 2023, 68 668 tourists from Russia visited Indonesia, of which 11 619 people arrived in April. The obtained values indicate a complete restoration of the tourist flow to pre-pandemic values for the specified period. For comparison: in 2019, for the first 4 months, 60 529 tourists from Russia visited Indonesia, and for the first 4 months of 2020, the country accepted 61 160 Russians.
As for July sales and summer sales in general, experts expect a noticeable increase of demand.
Tour operators characterize current sales as stable and high. Many hotels in Bali are already on stop for July-August. These are, for example, hotels Merusaka Nusa Dua, Hard Rock Kuta, Melia Bali, Grand Hyatt, Nusa Dua, Pita Maha. “Mostly, hotels in the high segment are booked, and villas are often requested for a large family or company vacation,” Russia Express said.
Mostly couples and families with children fly to Bali, they spend on an average 11 - 15 nights there. Maximum accommodation booked for the summer season is currently 49 days, according to Ics Travel Group.
Tourists relax not only on the beaches of Bali, but also combine beach segment with visit to Ubud. Programs that include visits to several countries - Kuala Lumpur + Bali and Malaysia-Indonesia-Singapore are also in demand.
