Russian tourist flow to Indonesia in March approached to a record
The Russian tourist flow to Indonesia has recovered by 50% in 2022 and continues to show positive dynamics. In March 2023, almost a quarter more Russians visited this country than for the same period of 2019 and 21 times more than in March 2022.
The dynamics of the recovery of the Russian tourist flow to Indonesia, which gained a steady rate at the end of 2022, does not slow in 2023. According to official statistics from the Indonesian Embassy in Moscow, in March 2023, the country accepted 23 335 tourists from Russia.
Russia's "neighbors" in the ranking are the USA (21 095 tourists) and Great Britain (17 944 tourists). Malaysia leads with 112 287 people arriving in Indonesia in March. In the second place is Australia (99 089 tourists), in the third is Singapore (96 032 tourists).
More Russians came to Indonesia only in January 2020 - 27 406 tourists. In the first month of 2022, only 1 082 Russians were there.
