The Russian tourist flow to Vietnam has been growing steadily over the past few years. According to Vietnamese statistics, in 2019, 646,5 thousand citizens of the Russian Federation visited the country, which is 6,6% more than in 2018. Russia confidently enters the TOP 5 source markets of Vietnam - after China, South Korea, Taiwan and Malaysia.
At the same time, the Russian market has no competitors among European countries: the tourist flow from the Russian Federation is two times more than the number of arrivals from the UK and France.
In total, by the end of 2019, Vietnam hosted more than 18 million foreign tourists (+ 16% against 2018).
The positive dynamics of the Russian market continues since the beginning of 2020: in January, more than 88 thousand Russians visited Vietnam (+ 16% against January 2019).
Most market participants believe that sales of the destination in this winter season generally correspond to the sales volumes of the last season. At the same time, Vietnam is confidently in the TOP-5 most popular beach destinations this winter.

According to Marina Makarkova, head of the public relations department of Coral Travel tour operator, the demand for the destination is stable from year to year, and the most active are the sales of tours to Fukuok.
According to the observation of Anex Tour experts, Vietnam is one of the leaders in tourist flow in Southeast Asia, which is connected with a large number of charter flights. For example, in the winter season, Anex Tour flies to Vietnam from 20 cities. In spring, charters will start from 3 cities of Russia to Danang resort.
