Tourist flow from Russia to the main Moroccan resort has tripled in 2016

“The tourist flow from Russia to the main Moroccan resort of Agadir increased in this year by more than three times”, - reported the press service of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) with reference to the representative of the Ministry of Tourism in Agadir Fatuaka Abdelaziz. "The growth of tourists from Russia amounted 300% at the beginning of this year and in the high season (from May to August) - 500%. In 2015 our region hosted 6.9 thousand tourists from Russia, in this year - about 30 thousand and in the next year we hope to host 100 thousand Russian citizens", - said F. Abdelaziz. “It is planned to launch the direct flights between Moscow and Agadir, Marrakech and Fes (now the tourists are flying through Casablanca). In addition, in Taghazout, which is located 20-km from Agadir, a new luxury resort building is in progress", - reported in the ATOR.
