Tourist flow from Russia to Indonesia has grown by almost 20%
From October 2018 to November 2019, Rossia Airlines transported more than 72 000 passengers and performed 232 flights on the rout Moscow - Denpasar. According to the press service of the Ministry of Tourism of Indonesia, the average load of flights amounted to 70% and in the autumn-winter season it increased significantly.
On November 19, the direct flight Moscow-Denpasar was presented in Moscow. According to the Ambassador of Indonesia to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus M. Vahid Supriadi, the tourist flow from Russia is growing year by year. In 2017 the number of Russian tourists in Indonesia amounted to 117 500 people, and in 2018 already 125 697 people (+ 7%). Meanwhile, from January to September 2019 109 003 Russians have already visited Indonesia, which is 19,1% more than for the same period in 2018 (91 544 people). In Indonesia, by the number of tourists, Russia is on the fifth position among European countries after the UK, France, Germany and the Netherlands.
The potential of the Russian tourism market for Indonesia is huge, and it is expected that the direct flights, operated by Rossia Airlines from Moscow to Denpasar, will further increase the flow of Russian tourists to Indonesia.
In the autumn-winter season 2019/2020 the flight SU6295 Moscow - Denpasar is operated three times a week: on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
