Almost a hundred thousand Russias visited Indonesia from January to August
According to the Russian representative office of the country's tourism ministry (VITO Russia), from January to August 2019, 98 300 Russian tourists visited Indonesia, which is 18% more than the same period last year. The Ministry of Tourism of Indonesia is confident that direct flights between the countries have a positive effect on the growth of interest of Russian tourists in the country. Rossia Airlines, in its winter schedule, expands flight program on the route Moscow (Sheremetyevo) - Denpasar (Bali, Indonesia): from October 27 to March 29, 2020 the flights will be operated three times a week, instead of two in the summer schedule.
The flights are operated on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays on Boeing 777-300ER (436 seats - economy, 21 seats - business). Rossia Airlines (part of the Aeroflot Group) has launched direct flights between Moscow and Bali on October 31, 2018. On May 23, 2019, the airline suspended flights from Moscow to Denpasar and resumed them on July 1.
