Tour operators report situation on Hainan Island
The portal TourDom.ru found out from large Russian tour operators in China the current situation in the country, and in particular at the popular tourist resort - Hainan Island.
The news is quite positive, there have been no new cases of COVID-19 since February 22, and the last patient was discharged on March 24.
“On April 1, the Chinese government has canceled the ban on public events on the island, life is gradually returning to normal, resorts and some hotels are already working, but so far without tourists,” commented the press service of Anex Tour with reference to information received from host company on Hainan.
Anex Tour temporarily suspended work with China until next year. The assortment of the company in Hainan with Azur Air flights are opened, but with arrival dates after April 28, 2021. “We are observing the situation and if there is sufficient demand and full confidence in the safety at the resorts, we will be able to adjust plans,” the company added.
Everything has been done from the Hainan hotel business to resume the reception of tourists, but a decline line in the spread of the virus in other countries is necessary. Tez Tour reminds, according to the order of the Chinese government, tourism between the internal provinces is prohibited. At the same time, some hotels have already resumed work in a limited mode, for example, without access to pools and other services.
Tour operators predict: the restoration of tourism in the country will begin from local tourism. As local media report, Hainan Airlines plans to resume all domestic flights to Hainan as quickly as possible - after receiving the necessary orders from the government.
