Tour operators are recording an increase of demand for weekends in November. According to the estimates of tour operators, the demand for holiday weekend tours in November increased by 10-15% compared to last year. Some companies, for example, Intourist, record more active sales dynamics for this high period compared to last year: + 46%.
As experts from the tour operator companies Coral Travel, Pegas Touristik, Fun&Sun, Anex, Space Travel, Tez Tour, Ambotis Holidays, Alean, Russian Express and Dolphin say, the peak of bookings for the November holidays will be in mid-October.
For most travelers, possible tour during the November holidays will not be very long (3-7 days), and they will mainly buy inexpensive tours. Taking into account limited time of travel, tourists will choose tours with direct flights.
Tour operators named the TOP 5 most booked destinations for the November holidays (as of early October) – UAE, Thailand, Turkey, Egypt and Russia.
As of the beginning of October, tours to the UAE account for 20-25% of bookings, Thailand – 15-17%, Turkey and Egypt – 12-15% each, Russia – 8-10% of requests for tour packages.
The TOP 10 by number of bookings also includes Sri Lanka, Cuba, Maldives, Belarus and other neighboring countries (Uzbekistan, Armenia, Georgia, etc.).
As it follows from the aggregated tour operator sales data, the United Arab Emirates remains the leader in the number of bookings at present time.
