The tourist flow from China to Primorye increased by one third in the first quarter 2017

“The number of Chinese tourists visited Primorsky Krai during the first three months of 2017 increased by 36% against the same period of the last year”, - said the representative of the regional administration. So, within the framework of the intergovernmental agreement between Russia and the PRC on visa-free tourist group - in the first quarter, nearly 14,000 citizens from China came to Primorye. "This is more than a third higher than the same indicator in 2016, when we host about 10,000 Chinese tourists from January to March", - the message quoted the representative of the Department of Tourism of Primorye. It is noted that totally 420,000 Chinese citizens visited Primorye in 2016. Among them, 200,000 visited the region within intergovernmental agreement on visa-free tourist group.
