The resumption of air traffic between Russia and Egypt will start in October from Cairo.
According to “Al-Masri al-Yawm" newspaper, which is citing a source in the Ministry of Civil Aviation of Egypt – the air traffic between Egypt and Russia may be resumed in October,
The traffic recovery will take place in several stages: at first the flights between Moscow and Cairo will be launched, and then – the regular flights between Moscow and Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada are planned to be restored.
The Moscow - Cairo flights will be launched from the new terminal of the International Airport of the Egyptian capital, which is planned to operate in test mode on September 28. After the restoration of regular communication with the capital and resorts of Egypt the parties will start discussing about resumption of charter flights.
