Tour operators named the most popular Turkish hotels for Russians

According to TBG United Network Managing Company director Oleg Mel’nikov the volume of the sales is rather identical in comparison to the last year, but the interest to the new year period flights is evident: “Now we see the increase of requests for the new year dates on Antalya coastline and for the excursion tour to Istanbul”. 

In TBG network the most popular hotels this year are Rixos Hotels, Titanic, Сrystal, and also Grand Park and Maritim Pine Beach.  

According to Elina Zeveleva from MGP the last year leaders among the hotels were Trendy Lara, Rixos Premium Belek, Port River Hotel and Spa, Adalya Elite Lara, Rixos Sungate.  

The managers of TA say that the most important feature of the hotel for the tourists in winter Turkey – heated pools, new year animation program with Russian and foreign stars of show business. The families with the children are looking for the mini clubs with good animation working all year round.  

Ostrovok.ru fixes the increase on winter Turkey requests on 20 % among independent travelers and in 2,5 times more among the organized tourists. The choice is a bit different here. In Istanbul and Alanya the tourists are looking for 3* and 4* hotels, while in Belek, Side and Antalya they choose 5* hotels. «In winter period the tourists are choosing the hotels with big variety of entertainment in comfort weather conditions. It may be hotel’s golf fields, tennis courts, fields for basketball and football”, - the leader of Ostrovok.ru Felix Shpilman. 

The travel experts consider the perspectives of winter Turkey sales as optimistic. There is the influence of Egyptian flights absence. Turkey destination was also popular last winter and this trend may prolong and the destination will show the growth during the low season too.
