The head of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation Maxim Sokolov has not confirmed the fact that flights between Russia and Egypt can be resumed in October. "Yes, indeed, this are speculations", - said Sokolov on the "Russia 24" (VGTRK) TV channel on Friday. Additionally, the Minister of Transport noted that in Russia expected to receive the invitation from the Egyptian side for inspection of the three Egyptian airports in the nearest future. The Minister explained that it would be a final inspection of Russian experts of each of the three airports (Cairo, Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh). Also Sokolov stressed that "the Egyptian colleagues have really done a lot to establish international aviation safety standards".
