The Great Tea Road project to be launched in Russia
On October 25, the coordination council of interregional tourism project "The Great Tea Road" gathered in the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation to discuss the organization and the promotion of these tours in different parts of Russia.
The Great Tea Road includes train travel from China to Ural. It is aimed to show the tourists historical and cultural heritage of three countries: China, Mongolia, and Russia.
Since the project implementation involves both state and business participation., the coordinating council includes representatives of tour operators, Russian railways, food and beverage companies from different regions of Russia. The Federal agency of tourism also takes part in the discussion and organization of The Great Tea Road project.
It is planned to create the tourist brand The Great Tea Road and to promote it on the domestic and international travel markets. The general idea of the project is to stimulate the development of tourist infrastructure in the Russian Federation.
Yury Mishchenko, graduated from Moscow Institute of Foreign Languages, has more than 15 years experience in tourism and travel. Working both in tour operator company as destination manager, and in travel agency as sales manager, he is focused on analysis of Russian tour operators’ daily routine. Recently, Yury works in Baginet Marketing and Sales Agency.
