The Egyptian Ministry of Tourism is planning a visit to Moscow to meet with Russian tour operators

Minister of Tourism Hisham Zaazou has not cancelled his pre-scheduled visit to London for WTM tourism fair, but delayed it to the evening to follow up the updates of the Russian aircraft crash. The Ministry of Tourism is currently coordinating with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Egyptian Ambassador in Moscow to discuss his visit to Russia directly from London to meet with tour operators by the weekend. Discussions are still ongoing in the light of the investigations conducted on the circumstances of the crash. Head of the Tourism Activation Authority Samy Mahmoud said that Egypt’s participation this year will be at the highest level, where the Minister of Tourism himself will head the Egyptian delegation.
