Uzbekistan expects to welcome 12 million foreign tourists in 2026. This was announced by Mr. Abrorhuja Munovarov, Head of the Investment Department of the Tourism Committee, at the 7th Hotel Business Forum 2026, which was held in Tashkent on February 13 - 14.

The delegation of Uzbekistan, headed by Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Committee Sardor Niyazov, took part for the first time in the New York Travel and Adventure Show 2025, which was held in New York on January 25-26.

According to the global media portal "BBC Travel", Uzbekistan is included in the list of 25 best travel destinations in 2025.

Press service of the governor of the Rostov region informs that on July 16 in Rostov-on-Don the ceremonial opening of General Consulate of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held. The consular district will cover General Consulate  in Rostov,  including the Southern and North Caucasian federal districts.
