Uzbekistan opened consulate in South of Russia

Press service of the governor of the Rostov region informs that on July 16 in Rostov-on-Don the ceremonial opening of General Consulate of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held. The consular district will cover General Consulate  in Rostov,  including the Southern and North Caucasian federal districts. 

The ambassador of Uzbekistan thanked the Russian side – the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and also the leaders of the Rostov region – for support of an initiative of the Uzbek side of opening of General Consulate in Rostov-on-Don. 

RTD information: the direct flight of Uzbekistan Airways connects Tashkent and Rostov-on-Don once a week on Monday from the April,1 till October, 21 in 2019. A-320 fulfills this flight starting from Tashkent at 12-25 and arriving to Rostov-on-Don at 14-15. The back flight from Rostov starts at 15-45 and arrives to Tashkent at 21-15.
