The Greek airline Ellinair, part of the international travel holding Mouzenidis Group, is resuming its flight program from Moscow to Greece, starting in March 2021. The program provides 4 points of arrival in Greece.

Greece has extended its entry permit for Russian tourists until February 22. As before, up to 500 tourists from the Russian Federation can visit the country per week.

Since June 1, 2019,  Ellinair operates flights to Thessaloniki twice a week on Airbus A320 (180 passengers) or on Airbus A319 (144 passengers) from international airport Koltzovo in Ekaterinburg. Departure from Koltzovo is planned at 06:35 on Saturday and at 06:00 on Wednesday. Flight duration equals 4 hours and 50 minutes. 

The CEO of the Greek carrier Ellinair, Thanos Paschalis, announced the conclusion of a partnership agreement between Ellinair and Aeroflot airlines. The announcement was made during a solemn event held in Athens on the occasion of the celebration of the five-year anniversary of  Ellinair airline. 

The Greek carrier continues to expand its map of flights between Russia and Greece. This year, Ellinair (a subsidiary of Mouzenidis Group) plans to fly on five new routes from Russian regions, increasing the flight program by 40% against the last year. In the coming summer season, five new routes have appeared in the flight map of Ellinair.
